Later this year, my new CD with the large scale eight part piece Metropolis Balticum will be released by Polish label Antenna Non Grata. This composition is a soundscape of Gdańsk, my hometown and was entirely created from field recordings that I made within the urban space, visiting various locations and searching for intriguing events with musical qualities. Each of the eight parts of the composition consists of multiple phrases layered on top of each other, creating a sonic tapestry. More information on this CD will be posted soon. This project was undertaken as part of the Cultural Grant of the City of Gdańsk, awarded in 2023.
